Founder Erin Bell holds 10 years in human resources, health and safety, emergency and explosives work in FIFO mining and the industrial sector. Rolling out software projects consistently though her career, noticed a majority of programs and apps were one feature, and were not built for the unique characteristics of the remote mining environment, causing poor adoption and functionality. Camp Connect is the first program purpose built for the remote mining environment, which replaces multiple one feature solutions, while including a number of personal use features to boost attrition and engagement.
